Tangerine, one of Australia’s fastest growing telcos, has today launched its new 5G mobile broadband product allowing customers across Australia to access the internet while on the go.

Tangerine’s new 5G data-only SIM plan costs $59.90 per month for the first 6 months, then raising only $5.00 to $64.90 a month for 400GB data with a no lock-in contract making it an easy, flexible and great value way to get online.

Tangerine’s mobile broadband uses parts of Telstra’s 5G, 4G and 3G mobile network, offering extensive breadth and depth of coverage and support by a quality network.

Commenting on the launch, Tangerine CEO Andrew Branson said, “our customers have been asking for reliable connectivity on the go, and we're thrilled to be able to deliver that with the launch of our 5G mobile broadband product.”

“Since 2014, we have been working hard to provide Australians with fast, reliable and cost-effective internet solutions. With this product, we're helping Australians stay connected and productive whether they're travelling within Australia, outdoors or working remotely.”

“Our customers will enjoy less buffer, fewer interruptions and more connectivity when accessing 5G speeds.”

“Customers on the go can now access download speeds of up to 250Mbps on 4G and 5G, making it easy to stream 4K videos, download large files, respond to emails and browse the web.”

Mobile broadband can be set up easily with any compatible smart device. Customers will be able to insert the SIM into a compatible device such as a laptop, tablet or portable modem and follow the device instructions.

They also have the option to purchase an Inseego M2000 5G Mobile Hotspot for $599 including GST with free express delivery. Providing all day battery life, this hotspot allows 30 devices to be connected and is perfect for those travelling and on the road.

Tangerine uses parts of Telstra’s 5G, 4G and 3G mobile network. The service provides 5G coverage reaching at least 75% of the Australian population and 4G coverage reaching more than 98.7% of the Australian population. The Telstra Wholesale mobile coverage area footprint reaches more than 98.8% of the Australian population.
