Can I keep my phone number when I switch to nbn® Phone?

Yes you can. We are able to port (transfer) your existing phone numbers onto an nbn® phone service. It's possible to utilise the phone port on the back of our Netcomm and FRITZ!Box modem/router, or you can use an IP handset.

Here is how you can request the transfer:

  1. First, make sure that the phone number is active with the other service provider as we cannot port a disconnected number.

  1. Include the phone plan to your nbn® Order. Order your nbn® Bundle here.

  1. After signing up, our team would request for a copy of your invoice of the phone number you wish to transfer.

  1. Upon receipt, our team would submit the port request which may take 7 to 10 business days to complete.*(timeframe may vary depending on the losing provider)

  1. Once ported, our team would supply you with the nbn® Phone settings to enter on your modem.
