How can I cancel my nbn® service?

All our nbn® plans include a no lock-in contract so youre free to cancel your nbn® service at any time

We recommend that if cancelling or switching plans, you do so at the end of your current billing period to make the most of your current months plan inclusions. If you have a Tangerine Home Voice plan, cancelling your Tangerine nbn® plan will result in your Tangerine Home Voice service being terminated automatically on the same day. You will not receive a refund or credit for any unused days of the current billing period that fall after your cancellation or plan change date.

If you are cancelling due to a billing or technical issue, we ask you to contact our customer service or technical support team on 1800 211 112. Were available to work through your issue

To cancel your nbn® service:

1. Login to the Self Care Portal
2. Hover over the Internet tab and select Cancel my nbn® from the dropdown
3. Fill out the required fields including Preferred Cancellation Date
IMPORTANT: We recommend that you align this with your plan refresh date to avoid additional charges
4. Click Submit Order to finalise request

If you request to cancel your nbn® service immediately, the request may take 24 to 48 hours to complete. You will receive an email confirming when your nbn® service has been cancelled
